“I just was nice.
It’s like understanding your partner and being able to talk about things, and have an open dialogue.
Yeah, we’re in a really good spot and I’m very fortunate.

When it came to Gomez, the woman who would eventually become his spouse and whom he called “the most beautiful wife in the world,” Blanco insists the formula was less mysterious than people realize.
It also helped that their first date was apparently a surprise to Blanco.
The pair had already been working together, and a dinner came shortly after.
Blanco didn’t realize it was a date until he was already sitting across from Gomez.
“I had no idea,” he recalled.
“And then, like, I’m on the date and now I’m like, ‘Is this a date?’ And she’s just like, ‘Yeah, like, what do you mean? I wore this out…'” Their relationship eventually led to marriage, with Blanco and Gomez approaching their first wedding anniversary.
But their story is just one of many dreams Blanco has seen come to fruition since his aspiring teenage rapper days.
