Three people were killed, and four others were injured in a shooting Wednesday in downtown Minneapolis.
Three police officers were among those hurt, and the suspected gunman was among the dead, officials said.
Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) Sgt.
Garrett Parten said at a news conference that it's unclear how the suspected gunman died.
MPD police officers were at the site of the shooting, which involved "multiple victims," the city said, including the three law enforcement officers .
Officers were shot in the shin and abdomen, sources told Fox News.

The shooting triggered a large police presence.
"My public safety team is responding to a shooting that took place downtown Minneapolis this afternoon," Minnesota Gov.
Tim Walz wrote on X.
"State officials are on the ground to support local law enforcement, and we will share more information as it becomes available." In a subsequent post, Walz thanked law enforcement for "working to ensure the safety of our neighbors" in the area.
