When it comes to shampoo and conditioners, I used to be open to using a variety of products as long as I liked the smell and texture.
I quickly realized this wasn’t the best approach, as everyone’s hair type varies: in my case, I have a lot of hair , but my strands are fine.
This means that product can build up quickly in my hair, giving it a piecey, weighed-down look.
Plus, I have a wavy texture that’s quite stubborn unless blow-dried or styled wet-to-dry.
I was curious when Cardi B announced she was releasing her own hair care line, Grow-Good.
During the COVID-19 lockdown days, I took some cues from her Instagram hair tips, including a DIY avocado hair mask for moisture support.
At the time, my hair was fairly damaged from using old straighteners and curling irons, but Cardi’s at-home mask recipe was a key factor in nursing it back to health.
It seems this recipe was the basis of her new Get Rich hydrating mask , my favorite in the collection.
These days, I try to limit the heat exposure my tresses endure, but I have been styling them with the T3 Aire 360 , which has been my favorite hair tool to date because it causes far less breakage than other heat-styling tools.
With that said, I have noticed my hair erring a little more on the dry side lately, so I decided to give Grow-Good’s shampoo , conditioner , mask , and serum a try.
The line focuses on hair growth and retention, hydration, and strengthening, all of which I’m interested in.
After all, I figured if I loved her DIY hair mask so much, I’m sure this new formula would be equally as impressive.
