“After 10 years of tireless effort / Long flights, hundreds of hours in the studio.
I did it / I’m nominated for a Nick Kids’ Choice Award.” And it seems like the nomination isn’t the most exciting part, at least to Kahan.
“I’m finally gonna get slimed,” he continued, before imagining the messy reality of the Nickelodeon tradition.
“I can feel it dripping down my scalp and into my eyes and nostrils,” he wrote.
“It tastes.. like freedom.” Other artists might dream of adding another trophy to their shelves, but Kahan is ready to embrace a different kind of achievement: getting drenched in Nickelodeon’s signature green goo.
