Roger Marshall Caught Staging Bus Tour Arrival in Kansas

Roger Marshall, the 66-year-old Kansas senator running for re-election, appeared to get off a bus before speaking to supporters on Tuesday during a six-day statewide tour ahead of the midterms.
But his everyman gimmick was quickly unraveled by NBC News’ Brennan Leach , who reported that Marshall was never actually on the bus branded with the Kansas GOP logo.
In reality, Marshall got out of a separate car, boarded the bus, then walked off it waving to supporters, according to the outlet.
After delivering his remarks, Marshall left the venue through a back door and got into a separate car again, an event organizer told NBC.
The report triggered an outpouring of brutal mockery from X users who called out the “performative” candidate.
“Dude literally can’t even get out of his own way.
A bus tour of Kansas and he’s not even ON THE BUS?!!!” one user said.
“Roger Marshall faking being a man off the people.
Absolutely pathetic,” another added .
“Probably has to have his ‘crowd’ on the bus.
Doesn’t really want to sit and listen to them, so puts on a show when he arrives at his talking point place,” another user chimed in.
“That is how he has treated most Kansans.” Marshall’s campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment for the Daily Beast.
The Kansas Republican Party kicked off a bizarre “Take Back Kansas” bus tour on Monday in an effort to bring the GOP ticket to 20 cities across the state, from Wichita to Kansas City.
