LISA Documentary About Her ‘Transformative Year Away From BLACKPINK’ Is Coming to Theaters

LISA of BLACKPINK is ready to show BLINKs what her life is like when she’s just, well, Lalisa.

The K-pop superstar’s documentary about her solo year away from the girl group, Always Lalisa , is set for a theatrical release worldwide, as announced Wednesday (Sept.

2).

A description of the project explains that Always Lalisa chronicles LISA’s “transformative year away from BLACKPINK,” which she spent working on debut solo album Alter Ego — it reached No.

“As the group pauses activities, LISA embarks on the first true chapter of her solo career, confronting the question of who she is beyond BLACKPINK,” it reads.
