6 year-old in critical condition after being stabbed at a daycare
A 6-year-old girl has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after being stabbed several times at a daycare centre in Umhlali, north of the Durban metro.
IPSS paramedics services spokesperson, Samantha Meyrick, says the stabbing took place after a teenage intruder gained access to the daycare centre.
Meyrick says the suspect was arrested on the scene.
“On Tuesday morning, IPSS Medical Rescue responded to a stabbing that took place in Umhlali, where a 6-year-old girl was stabbed while in her classroom at a local church.
The girl, who was stabbed multiple times, is in a critical condition and has been transported to a specialist facility under the care of IPSS Medical Rescue Advanced Life Support Paramedics,” adds Meyrick.
