Case of triple murder suspect Ndodana Tshuma postponed to 29 October

SABC News South Africa ·

The case against Zimbabwean-born British national Ndodana Tshuma has been postponed to the 29 th of October for further consultations with his legal representative.

Tshuma is accused of killing his wife and two children in Britain where they lived.

At his previous court appearance, the matter was postponed to allow the state and the defence to finalise a plea and sentencing agreement following issues relating to documentation and discrepancies.

During his appearance in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, Tshuma told the court that he did not remember pleading guilty and maintains that he is innocent.

When his lawyer showed him the document he had signed, Tshuma told the court that he could not remember signing it.

His legal representative then requested a postponement to allow for further consultations with his client. -Report by Calvin Dludla
