Yvonne Chaka Chaka celebrates 37 years of marriage with her husband

Yvonne Chaka Chaka and her husband Dr Leonard Mandlalele Mhinga are marking a milestone in their relationship — 37 years of marriage.

The legendary singer took to her timeline on Thursday, posting special moments they’ve shared together when reflecting on their love journey.

“We can only thank God for his love. Happy anniversary Kokwane. Siguga Sonke (we grew old together). 7/10 1989,” she captioned the post.

Another celebrity couple who celebrated their anniversary were reality TV star Ayanda Mthembu and her husband, DJ Swalas, who marked 10 years of marriage.

Ayanda shared a special moment from their wedding day, gushing over their love journey.

“Ten years ago, I stood beside you and made a promise to love you for the rest of my life. Today, after all these years, I realise that love is so much more than the beautiful moments we imagined when we first said, “I do”. It is choosing each other when life is easy and choosing each other when life is difficult. It is growing, changing, learning, forgiving, holding on, and sometimes simply being there when words are not enough. It is the memories we have created, the laughter we have shared, the tears we have shed, the dreams we have built, and the family we have created together," she wrote.

Ayanda went on to recall how they survived various obstacles together.

“We have travelled through seasons that tested us and seasons that reminded us why we chose each other in the first place. And through it all, there is one thing I know for certain: I am grateful that my journey brought me to you. I don’t know what the future holds, but I know who I want beside me as we discover it. I want to keep making memories with you. I want to grow old with you, watch our children grow, celebrate their victories, and look back one day at everything we built together. So today, I choose you again. In this life…. And the next, not because our story has been perfect but because it has been ours."
