Crime expert: Feroz Khan has a lot to answer for

Crime and policing expert Dr.

Mxolisi Mathebula says the testimony of former Crime Intelligence deputy head, Feroz Khan , is indeed considered vital, as the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry enters its final stages.

The Commission postponed Khan’s private, remote testimony indefinitely.

The hearing was paused because Khan was unable to testify following the fatal shooting of his uncle-in-law.

Khan had previously missed multiple appearance dates due to disputed sick notes and health issues, leading Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga to criticize his non-appearance as a flagrant disregard of a legal subpoena.

“His evidence is extremely critical and I think he knows that as well.

Remember the 2018 allegations that he assaulted brigadier petle and before he could even submit his warning statement, he received a docket or some documents from Andria Johnson that was testimony by witness O.

The Aeroton drug bust crime scene where we had warrant Magana, Phakula, Mashaba and Nku.

They were in charge of the crime scene but as soon as general khan arrived at the crime scene these ones were arrested and he took over the crime scene.

Even if a chief arrives in any crime scene they cannot give instructions to start with.

They cannot interfere with a crime scene.

If those allegations are true, again, actions must be taken,” says VIDEO | Madlanga Commission Wrap | The multiple barriers of misfortune to Feroz Khan’s in-camera testimony
