Two persons drowned in the sea at Kakinada beach on Sunday, while two others were rescued by visitors. All four are residents of Kakinada.
According to an official release issued by Kakinada police, A. Sri Ganesh Chanti, 21, and 19-year-old K.A.V. Sandeep Kumar were rescued by beachgoers. The incident occurred when the group of four friends were bathing in the sea.
A search operation has been launched to trace Padala Yuva Kishore, 20, and 21-year-old Anusuri Veerababu.
