The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) demolished 19 unauthorised constructions and served notices on 12 others as part of its enforcement drive across its limits on Saturday, August 29.

CMC enforcement teams identified 26 unauthorised constructions during field inspections carried out during the day. Of these, 19 were demolished, while 12 notices were issued to violators in accordance with the prescribed procedure.

The remaining seven identified unauthorised constructions will be taken up for further enforcement action, the CMC said.

The highest number of demolitions was recorded in the Serilingampally Zone, where nine unauthorised structures were removed. This was followed by six demolitions in the Quthbullapur Zone and four in the Kukatpally Zone.
