Two persons were killed after their two-wheeler rammed a truck near Maduranthakam in Chengalpattu district on Tuesday night.

The police said Senthilkumar, along with his friend Manikandan, was returning home on a two-wheeler when the incident occured. Senthilkumar, who was riding the vehicle on GST Road suddenly lost control when they reached Gandhi Nagar junction near Maduranthakam. The two-wheeler rammed the rear-end of a container lorry that was moving ahead.

Senthilkumar and Manikandan sustained severe body and head injuries and died on the spot. The locals alerted Acharapakkam police, who sent the bodies to Chengalpattu Government Hospital for a post mortem examination.
