Arshad Warsi starrer Jeevan Bheema Yojana locks September 4 release

Arshad Warsi is set to take on his first-ever double role on the big screen with Jeevan Bheema Yojana, which will now release worldwide in cinemas on September 4, 2026.

The film was earlier scheduled to hit theatres on August 28.

The makers have now confirmed September 4 as the final theatrical release date, as the film enters the final phase of its promotional campaign.

A new poster announcing the release date has also been unveiled.

Directed by Abhishek Dogra, Jeevan Bheema Yojana features Arshad Warsi in two contrasting roles — Jeevan and Bheema.

The cast also includes Sanjeeda Shaikh, Vijay Raaz, Pooja Chopra, Bijendra Kala and the late Atul Parchure.

Presented and produced by Starbeam Ventures Limited (formerly Blue God Entertainment Limited), the film blends dark comedy, crime and suspense against the backdrop of an unusual case of mistaken identity.

The story revolves around Jeevan, a debt-ridden common man whose life changes after he encounters his dangerous lookalike, Bheema.

What initially seems like an opportunity soon turns into a series of chaotic events, pushing the characters into a complicated web of lies, greed and risky decisions.

Sanjeeda Shaikh plays Yojana, Jeevan’s sharp and resourceful wife, while Vijay Raaz portrays the mysterious Vinayak.

Talking about the film, director Abhishek Dogra said, “Jeevan Bheema Yojana is a film about ordinary people making one extraordinary, catastrophic decision and then spending the rest of the film paying for it.

The genre is dark comedy, but the heart of it is very human.

Arshad brings both men to life with a precision that constantly surprised us on set.” The film marks a first for Arshad Warsi, who plays two distinctly different characters in the same project.

With its release date now confirmed, Jeevan Bheema Yojana is set to arrive in cinemas worldwide on September 4, 2026, bringing together dark humour, crime, suspense and mistaken identity.
