John Mulaney got bleeped out while quoting some of DJ Khaled ‘s questionable life rules about what it means to be a man’s man at Monday night’s 2026 Emmy Awards.

Before Mulaney presented the award for lead actor in a drama, he proclaimed the category as the “best part of the night.” He added: “This award is for the guys. Just men being men. Finally, something for the fellas.” Mulaney then launched into a spiel about men being “historically unrepresented” in television, praising male actors for their “method acting” and others who “do regular, less annoying acting.”
