IFP’s Velenkosini Hlabisa takes election campaign to Soweto
Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) President, Velenkosini Hlabisa, is taking his election campaign to Soweto on Tuesday as the country prepares for local government elections (LGE) in two weeks’ time.
Hlabisa is expected to hand over a house to a family in Meadowlands before embarking on a door-to-door campaign in Kliptown.
The party says he will engage with residents and outline the IFP’s five-point manifesto, which includes: ending corruption, delivering basic services and empowering women, youth and persons with disabilities.
