PIC Board fully constituted after delays: Godongwana

Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana says the Public Investment Corporation (PIC) has the full complement of board members as required.

The PIC board appeared before the Standing Committee on Finance for the first time since its appointment.

Addressing the committee, Godongwana says the delay was mainly due to a previous board member who later declined the nomination due to a conflict of interest.

He says, “To cabinet, four names free from the labour movement and one replacing the ones who declined as a result of the PIC exposure to the MTN.
