Lottie Moss reveals she blew modelling fortune on friends

Lottie Moss has revealed she spent her entire modelling fortune paying for friends’ rent, holidays and flights, leaving her with nothing from the career that made her famous.

The 28-year-old model and younger half-sister of Kate Moss, 52, has accused her former modelling agency of failing to provide adequate support when she entered the fashion industry as a teenager.

Speaking on the Olivia’s House podcast, hosted by Olivia Attwood, 35, Lottie described how she struggled with money, addiction and loneliness before leaving modelling for OnlyFans. Her disclosures come as she attempts to rebuild her finances and career following the liquidation of her former company earlier this year.

Lottie said: “I paid for people's rent. I paid for people's holidays. I would pay for everyone's flights.”

She added: “I spent all my money for modelling. I have none of it left. Wow. Not a single drop because you had no guidance. No guidance whatsoever.”

The former model, who began working in fashion after growing up in the shadow of Kate’s international success, said she had lacked the experience to recognise the financial and personal risks surrounding her career.

During the interview, Olivia suggested Lottie had previously blamed her parents for trusting her agency to look after her interests.

Lottie agreed, saying: “Yeah, that is a sad thing as well. I think they really trusted, you know, they thought these people have done this for years. They've done they must sort of know what they're doing and they handle young women all the time.”

She added: “They have a board specifically for new faces, so they must, you know, know what they're doing.”

Lottie claimed her former agency had failed to provide the support she needed, although she did not identify the company.

She said: “They really didn’t. I mean, my old agency, I can’t name names obviously, but they are just completely like they mismanage people all the time.”

The model acknowledged she bore some responsibility for her decisions but argued that young people entering the industry needed greater protection.

She said: “I think of course you know it is your responsibility as well to like keep yourself on the straight and narrow... .”

Lottie added: “As a young sort of impressionable person, I don’t think, they should be very early on seeing the signs and sort of helping you and navigate you in a different way. For them, they were just happy as long as I was there.”
