Mia Goth files for divorce from Shia LaBeouf after 10 years of marriage
Mia Goth has officially filed for divorce from Shia LaBeouf, nearly 10 years after the two actors were married.
The British model and actress filed a petition for dissolution of marriage in Los Angeles County on October 6, according to documents obtained by People magazine.
Goth cited “irreconcilable differences” as she listed their date of separation as July 28, 2025.
The two met and became a couple while filming Nymphomaniac: Vol. II in 2012 and made their red carpet debut together at the London premiere of LaBeouf’s movie Fury.
The couple wed in a Las Vegas ceremony in 2016, however, the marriage was reportedly not legally binding at the time, despite LaBeouf referring to Goth as his “wife”.
In September 2018, a rep confirmed the couple were heading for a divorce.
“The separation is amicable and all details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private,” the rep told People at the time.
After years of estrangement, Goth and LaBeouf reunited in 2020 and welcomed their daughter Isabel in 2022.
Goth and LaBeouf’s relationship “has always been complicated” a source told People in February when news of their separation broke.
“They weren’t getting along and had a lot of drama last year,” the source claimed.
Goth is now seeking primary legal and physical custody of their four-year-old, with visitation rights for LaBeouf. She also asked the court to deny either party spousal support.
In June, LaBeouf was sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to punching three people outside a New Orleans bar during Mardi Gras.
LaBeouf, most widely known for his starring roles in Transformers and Indiana Jones And The Crystal Skull, had been released on bail following his arrest near the city’s historic French Quarter.
Video of the February 17 encounter shows a shirtless LaBeouf outside a bar shoving one person to the ground and hitting another person in the face “causing his nose to possibly dislocate”, according to a New Orleans police report.
