Baby pangolin found by roadside, safely returned to the wild
A villager in Yongxin County, east China’s Jiangxi Province, found a small, scaly animal curled up by the roadside after his dog started barking in the early hours.
Local forestry officials identified it as a female Chinese pangolin, a national first-class protected species, about 4 to 5 months old.
